Happy Labor Day!
Late August for me means a couple of things. First, my wife and son have the same birthday, which coincidentally falls on Labor Day this year. It also signals the start of school, the unofficial end of summer and Labor Day.
Labor Day originally was created to celebrate the productivity of the American worker. The reason that America is such a prosperous, strong country is due to the fact that we have the greatest labor force the world has ever known. And yes, I still believe that in spite of the condition of the economy.
This article will be a short one. It will not be about saving money, retirement or 401k investing. It’s about you, the employed worker. Thank you for what you have done for the country to make it great.
Kick back, cook out and enjoy the day off. You deserve it.
Happy Labor Day!
